OnePlus has a few new smartphones up its sleeve for launch later this year. The latest buzz is around OnePlus Ace 7 series, including the Ace 7 and Ace 7T, as the series is expected to arrive alongside OnePlus 16 in the last quarter of this year. Turns out we have some exciting leaked specs for the Ace 7 series, courtesy of Digital Chat Station (DCS), that puts the much-needed gravitas to the story.
OnePlus Ace 7 series tipped to get Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 SoC
In a recent post by DCS on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, there’s a supposedly ‘high-performance’ OnePlus phone in the works, and it could be the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7T.
The post revolves around a gigantic 10,000mAh battery that the phone is likely to bring to the table. The OnePlus Ace 7 was earlier rumored to get a 9,000+ mAh battery, and this could be the same phone or an ‘Ace 7T,’ making it the largest-ever battery on a OnePlus phone. There’s also 100W fast charging so that you don’t have to wait much for the battery to refuel.
Apparently, DCS didn’t reveal the name of the phone, so it could be either the OnePlus Ace 7 or Ace 7T, although the stronger inclination is towards the latter. The OnePlus Ace 7T seems to be powered by an SM8445 Pro SoC, which is the model number for the yet-unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 SoC. Note that the chipset is still a few months away for launch, and so is the aforementioned Ace 7 series.
The phone is likely to pick up a 1.5K 185Hz LTPS ultra-high RR flat OLED panel. For the unversed, earlier reports mentioned refresh rate reaching as high as 240Hz, so we could say the 185Hz aforementioned is the minimum target.
Additionally, we will see an active cooling fan on-board the OnePlus Ace 7 series, although it remains to be seen if this is actually happening or just another rumor.
OnePlus Ace 7 series launch date
The OnePlus Ace 6 series arrived in October 2025, and it seems like October 2026 will be the time when the OnePlus Ace 7 series will actually make it to the Chinese market. Of course, the phones can’t launch before Snapdragon Summit 2026 happens, so the timelines could differ just a tiny bit.
