OnePlus is reportedly preparing to announce its next flagship in the coming weeks. With its launch this close, the leaks become inevitable, especially in an industry that isn’t known for keeping its secrets safe. We were recently tipped about the possible pricing of the upcoming OnePlus 6 in India along with its three storage variants. Further added to the list is OnePlus’ Bullets wireless earphones, which were recently reported to be launching alongside the OnePlus 6.
With the decision on prices still pending as on March 29 according to the tipped photo, the final MSRP hasn’t been provided; instead, it gives a possible price range for each variant. The base 64GB storage variant could be priced between Rs. 33,999 and Rs. 36,999 ($523 and $569), while the pricing for 128GB storage variant can range between Rs. 38,999 and Rs. 42,999 ($599 and $661). The 256GB storage variant of the device referred to as OnePlus 6 Premium here has a price range of Rs. 44,999 to Rs. 48,999 ($692 to $753) mentioned.
The said price range for the 256GB storage variant is quite close to the previous leak suggesting it be priced at $749. Prices for the other two variants had also leaked in China earlier this week, which too followed a similar structure. In comparison, the OnePlus 5T was announced in India starting at Rs. 32,999 ($507) for its 64GB storage variant and Rs. 37,999 for the 128GB storage variant, with certain special edition variants being pricier by a thousand or two.
It is worth noting that unlike last year’s authentic source that gave us the exact and accurate pricing for the OnePlus 5, which was later confirmed during the Launch event, the authenticity of this source could not be validated from our end and we would suggest taking these prices with reservations until more information is available. More precise numbers can be expected as we move closer to the phone’s official announcement. OnePlus and its executives have been quite vocal about the OnePlus 6 lately hinting at a possible launch ahead of its usual timeline.
