Apple lovers were thrilled hearing about an upcoming and truly affordable iPhone SE 2. But their hopes went down as the time passed and finally, Apple confirmed there won’t be any successor to the 2016 iPhone SE. A report by tipster Ming-Chi Kuo dating back to March referenced with the latest report states that Apple is indeed working on an iPhone SE 2 and it is slated to arrive in the first quarter of 2020.

Ming’s latest report teases a few upcoming products from Steve Jobs’ Apple such as the AR headset that is making its entrance in the second quarter while iPad Pro with a 3D ToF sensor is estimated to arrive in the first quarter itself.

To elaborate it, Apple is reportedly working on an upcoming iPhone SE 2 which will be based on the 2017 iPhone 8 and will have the most powerful Apple A13 Bionic chipset that we have already seen with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The device will host a 4.7-inch LCD and will have a single camera if not two. Most of the specs are currently off the radar so we can’t just speculate it. But we do know that Apple will have to decide between its TouchID or the latest FaceID which is comparatively expensive than the former and will make iPhone SE 2 a bit expensive.

Anyways, the second product that will make its debut earlier next year is the iPad Pro that will get a 3D Time of Flight (ToF) rear-facing sensor that should provide the iPad Pro with an added depth-sensing capabilities that will be needed for its AR applications. Yes, Apple will integrate its AR feature into iPad Pro 2020 to arrive in Q1 2020 while a standalone AR headset is expected to arrive in Q2 2020. The design and other details are under wrap as well so we don’t know if it looks as glasses or a headset but we do know that it will use your iPhone’s CPU, GPU, and network connectively after pairing with it wirelessly to do things although it will also have its screens to play around.

Next up, Apple will be switching away from maligned butterfly mechanism keyboard design found on the MacBook Pro that encountered countless complaints from enraged users. Instead, the MacBook Pro slated to arrive in the second quarter of 2020 will have a new scissor-styled button keyboard design that must fix the mess.

Finally, the Q3 2020 as mentioned in Ming’s Chinese reports states an upcoming 5G iPhone slated to release in Q3 2020 or say, September precisely as per the timeline that Apple has been following for a few years now.
