A couple of days back, OnePlus’ official Twitter handle suggested the release of Android Oreo beta for the OnePlus 5T. The company has now officially rolled out the OxygenOS Open Beta for OnePlus 5T users. As expected, this new beta update brings along the latest Android version Oreo. Earlier, the company has promised to release the final Android Oreo build for the OnePlus 5T by early 2018.

For the people unaware of the developments, OnePlus has already rolled out the final Android Oreo builds for its previous flagships. The OnePlus 3 and 3T were updated a while back, while the OnePlus 5 got the Oreo update recently. Despite being the latest flagship from the company, the OnePlus 5T would be the last to get the Oreo update, unlike the norm that other companies usually follow.

OnePlus 5T OxygenOS Open Beta 1 includes all the goodies of Android Oreo, including the picture in picture mode and in-app auto-fill feature. The first open beta for OnePlus 5T also includes the December security patch. OnePlus has also added a bunch of features to its OxygenOS too to make the experience better.
