Razer stepped into the audio business back in 2006, when it launched its first gaming headset, the Barracuda HP-1. The company has an experience of around 14 years in making audio devices. Razer is generally known for making gaming products, but the new Razer Opus is a treat for the audiophiles, as Razer promises that these are their best-sounding pair of headphones yet. Whether you’re playing some games, listening to some music, or watching your favourite movie wearing them, these headphones are supposed to provide you with great sound experience and comfort.

Advanced Active Noise Cancellation:

The Razer Opus wireless headphones come with hybrid ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), and PNC (Passive Noise Cancellation) to filter out ambient noise from the background. For hybrid active noise cancellation, the headphones come with 4 dedicated microphones. 2 mics are placed on the internal side of the earcups, and the other 2 are placed on the external side of the earcups. The earcups are surrounded by plush leatherette foam to provide passive voice cancellation.

THX Certified:

The Razer Opus has undergone several tests to achieve the THX certification, which ensures rich and balanced sound quality, along with impactful bass as what Razer says. The headphones have a wide frequency range of 20HZ – 20KhZ and come with a large 40mm driver. The Razer Opus promises to deliver clear vocals and dialog with no sound distortion even at high volumes.
