Realme GT 5 Pro likely to launch late-2023 after OnePlus 12

Realme’s flagship Realme GT 5 Pro has made a few sightings including TENAA certifications and AnTuTu suggesting its apparent and imminent launch in the Chinese market. We just got an update from a leakster according to whom, Realme GT 5 Pro will launch sometime by the end of 2023.

Digital Chat Station (DCS) took it to Chinese social media Weibo to announce the probable line-up of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC-powered smartphones. iQOO 12 will make it official on November 7 and it will be soon followed by the OnePlus 12 at least in China. Xiaomi’s Redmi K70 series will make their arrival sometime in December and subsequently, Realme GT 5 Pro is likely to break cover before this year wraps up.

No doubt it’s quite a wait for Realme fans as the Chinese smartphone maker gears up for the big launch as its rivals roll out Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered phones left and right.

Realme GT 5 Pro Specifications (Expected)

Realme GT 5 Pro is likely to bring onboard a 6.78” OLED 1.5K resolution panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the aforementioned Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It will be flanked with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Android 14-backed Realme UI 5 will handle the software end of the device.

Realme GT 5 Pro is speculated to bring a massive 5,400mAh battery along with 100W wired fast and 50W wireless fast charging tech to name a few. On the optics front, we have a 32MP selfie shooter flanked by a triple rear camera setup. The assembly includes a Sony LYT-T808 primary camera with OIS, an 8MP OmniVision OVO8D10 ultrawide lens and lastly, a 50MP IMX890 periscope telephoto cam.
