Nubia has booked August 8 to reveal its upcoming smartphone dubbed as Nubia Z20 which has been making the rounds of the inter for a quite a while. Well, specs for a device bearing model number NX627J which rumor mill suggests could be the upcoming Nubia Z20 have appeared on Chinese regulatory TENAA with a full specs sheet.
Based on the TENAA listing, the said smartphone with model number NX627J is powered by 2.95 GHz octa-core processor which could be the newly released Snapdragon 855+ SoC that has been overclocked. The device will come with three storage options i.e. 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB along with three RAM options that are 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB.
Unlike earlier believed, the upcoming Nubia Z20 could have dual OLED displays with the primary 6.42-inch OLED display at the front along with a secondary 5.1-inch OLED display the back. There is no notch at the front which hints that the device might not have front-facing cameras since the rear camera assembly paired with secondary OLED display will act as the viewfinder.
The device will have a primary 48MP sensor along with 16MP sensors that will be placed at the back since there’s no front-facing camera as said. Moreover, the front will have a curved display. The device will run on the latest Android Pie 9.0 along with a battery pack of 3,900 mAh or 4,000 mAh battery according to the TENAA listing. There are not many details available at the moment so we will just have to wait till August 8 for the official launch although it will be backed by a tonne of rumors and leaks that will be spotted during this one-week interim period.
