Samsung is gearing up for its next Galaxy A-series launch. Dubbed Galaxy A25, the successor to Galaxy A24 5G (launched in April 2023), the phone offers a breakthrough upgrade in the form of 5G connectivity and Exynos 1280 SoC. We got our hands on some of the official-looking renders that show the phone and the expected specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Renders Leaked

In a recent update from the folks at Android Headlines, they rolled out some leaked CAD-based renders for Samsung Galaxy A25 that corroborate the renders leaked earlier in June. The mid-range Galaxy A25 5G will get an upgrade in the form of Exynos 1280 SoC. It is an in-house chipset from Samsung and offers a much better CPU, GPU, and battery life performance compared to MediaTek Helio G99 onboard Galaxy A24.

The phone will be available in four colorways Lime Green, Light Blue, Black, and Blue-grey as per the sources. It will be 162x 77.5x 8.3mm in dimensions which is almost the same as its predecessor. A 6.44” LCD panel sits on top with an Infinity-U cut-out reportedly housing its 13MP selfie camera. Of course, the bezels around the edges are prominent especially the chin but given its price point, we don’t have any complaints.

On the back, you get a triple rear camera setup without any camera island. The primary shooter is speculated to be a 50MP shooter much like A24 along with 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro setup. A previous leak suggested Android 14 as its software with OneUI 6 on top which is Samsung’s custom UI. As usual, Galaxy A25 5G will have a max 25W wired charging support on its 5,000mAh battery and there’s no wireless charging in case you want it.

The phone was spotted on FCC listing in the US confirming its availability as well. The phone will have NFC and Wi-Fi AC and supports ten 5G bands in the US although it remains to be seen if that’s the case elsewhere.

Samsung Galaxy A24 5G arrived in April 2023 so we could get Galaxy A25 5G around the same time as well. We are still a few months away from its launch. The South Korean giant has a flagship launch on January 17th for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series although the dates aren’t yet official so take it with a pinch of salt.
