Yesterday only, Oppo Reno Ace 2 popped up in TENAA with the design, and today we get to know about the upcoming Oppo’s Reno Ace 2 specs from the same portal.

In a few segments like the camera, Oppo downgraded the specs if we compare it to last year’s Reno Ace. We don’t know why but we can expect a good explanation from Oppo while or before the launch event.

Oppo Reno Ace

Oppo Reno Ace series is one of their flagship series smartphones with most of the anticipated features around the market. Like last year’s Reno Ace featured the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging, which many are still approaching to give in their smartphones in 2020.

Yesterday’s TENAA listing showed us the phone design with a punch-hole display on the front with a single selfie camera & a circular camera module on the rear with Quad cameras in it. The TENNA listing confirms the rear design that we saw in the leaked live image but further reveals that there is a punch-hole display on the front. That’s not a surprise since almost every smartphone maker is going for a punch-hole design for this year’s flagships.

Oppo Reno Ace 2 Specs

According to TENAA, Oppo Reno Ace 2 most likely to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution with at least a 90 Hz refresh rate panel. Other than that it houses the punch-hole selfie camera and under-display fingerprint sensor.

Oppo Reno Ace 2 has a rear quad-camera setup and a punch-hole selfie camera in the front. The rear quad-camera houses a primary 48-megapixel camera, a secondary 8 Megapixel ultrawide camera, a third 2 Megapixel camera for Macro shots and a 2 Megapixel camera for Depth sensing. And the front punch-hole selfie camera houses a 16 Megapixel sensor.

Under the hood, Oppo Reno Ace 2 sports a 2.96GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SOC paired with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM & 128/256GB onboard storage. The smartphone is fueled with a 4,000mAh battery (Dual 1,955mAh) which is backed up with a 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging and a 40W Fast Wireless Charging support as well.
