Samsung Galaxy S20 series was unveiled in February and has received a lot of positive reviews so far. Apparently, a new Samsung smartphone bearing model number SM-N986U has made it to the Geekbench listing. It is heavily touted as Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ 5G considering the fact that Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G was tagged with a model number SM-N976U in the United States.
The Geekbench listing states that the device will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ and Android 10. To elaborate further, the listing states that the phone will have an Android 10 operating system custom-made with OneUI 2.x. Apart from that, Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ 5G is likely to arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC thanks to the annotation of “kona” listed against the motherboard.
But there’s something more. The listing also suggests that the phone will have a maximum frequency of 3.09GHz (SD865+) which is way faster than Snapdragon 865 (2.84GHz) has on-board Thus, it is perhaps a Snapdragon 865+ SoC that will be mounted under the hood with increased performance.
Talking about the Geekbench scores, the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ 5G received 985 points on a single-core while it received 3,220 points on a multi-core test. Although this is not that disappointing, it is perhaps a prototype and Samsung is likely to send the device through testing and optimization to bring up the scores.
A previous leak suggests Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is likely to arrive with a waterfall display and will have a fine-tuned 120Hz panel on the go.
