We are sure that everyone in the smartphone world is excited about the launch of Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone which is the Galaxy Note 20 series. It is a fact that Samsung’s Galaxy S series is followed by the launch of Galaxy Note series and both of these lineups have different userbase too.

On one hand, the Galaxy S20 series launched recently received all the praise due to its sleek form-factor and great performance as well as cameras. But the problem was Samsung’s Exynos processor still being on their Galaxy S20 series devices sold in Asian markets.

Many have called out Samsung for degrading the performance of their device because the Snapdragon processors are way better in battery consumption and performance compared to Samsung’s Exynos chips.

While the news came out that Samsung would continue bundling their latest Exynos 990 chip on their Note 20 series, all hell broke less in the tech world. People started questioning Samsung’s strategy and have made up their mind that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 series with Snapdragon 865 series will be certainly better.

However, not so fast says one report as it claims that the Exynos 990 chip from Samsung will be as fast as Snapdragon 865+ being used on the upcoming Note 20 series. This twitter user with a username @TheGalox_ says that the newly designed Exynos 990 is an “improved version with better optimization than the Snapdragon version and runs just as cool and just as fast as the Snapdragon. It’s like an Exynos 990+”

Interestingly, he claims that Samsung will market Exynos 990 as being better than the Snapdragon 865+ too which is very interesting. Now, we don’t know if any of this user’s claims are true but if they are, this will definitely improve sales of Samsung flagships in Asian countries where they sell the Exynos variants.

In other news, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 pricing at least for the European markets has also leaked suggesting a base model starting at €999 while the top-end variant will cost €1449. Therefore, we can assume that Samsung will start their US pricing in the same range or USD 100 more across the board than the Euro prices.
