The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was one of the most anticipated phones of 2016 and well it did live up to it for the most part, except it started blowing up. The company had to recall the phone from each and every user which incurred it a huge loss, and a bummer for fans that were excited to get their hands on the phone.

We thought that was the end of it, and that they would just continue with their S lineup, but then we started hearing about a refreshed version of the phone being dubbed and refreshed as the Note 7R. This one is supposed to have a smaller battery which is guaranteed to be free of explosions.

We have seen a leaked image before, but it just showed the front of the phone which was pretty much the same. Today, we have a few images of both the front and the back, which shows a slight change as compared to the old Note 7. The device looks identical to the traditional Note 7 except, it has got a big letter ‘R’ at the bottom right of the phone’s back.

There have been reports of the remodeled Note 7 being called as the Note Fandom Edition or just Note FE in short. So, why does the pic show a huge R at the back? Either the picture could be fraudulent or it could just be an older unit before they came up with the name ‘FE’. Or it could also be that it is not going to be called Note FE. And even if the R label is valid, we don’t know for sure what it means. It could be revised, resurrected, or refurbished. Nothing has been confirmed yet
