We’re already aware of the fact that Samsung is working on a premium tablet to be called Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. The device has been leaked numerous time giving us its glimpse bit by bit. If you’re not aware, the brand is planning to launch it alongside Galaxy Note 9 on August at an event in New York. Although, there is no official statement from the brand on the same.

Previously, the tablet has been leaked in innumerable render images but now we now have a hands-on video with us. A user who goes by the name Dimitri12 posted a small video on Slashleaks revealing bits of the device.

This short 10-second video reveals overall tiny bezels on the front as compared to previous-gen of Galaxy Tab S series. There is no home button on the front which lines up with the previous leaks. The video also gave us a brief look at the back which by the way comes with a single camera setup along with an LED flash.

The video did show us two different colours – Black and White. It seems like the tablet is getting ready for the demo in the Chinese market which means we can expect it to hit the market right after the launch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 leaked specs and features

Thanks to the benchmark listing, we know almost all the key features and specifications of the tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is supposed to come with a 10.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixel. There is no word on the aspect ratio but since the device has overall tiny bezels; the high screen-to-body ratio is expected. The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. On the other hand, some leaks suggest Exynos 9810 chipset instead of the Qualcomm one.

In terms of optics, there is a single camera setup at the back having 12-megapixel with an LED flash. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The Galaxy Tab S4, in terms of storage, has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage packed inside. There is no word on the battery capacity as of now but all of this should run on the latest version of Android i.e. Android 8.1 Oreo. If you look at the above video, you’ll notice that there is no fingerprint sensor at all. Recently, a firmware video of the device made an appearance online suggesting that the brand instead will go with IRIS scanner as well as Face Unlock feature.

When it comes to accessories, there is an optional keyboard and a Stylus pen which was leaked earlier. This tablet will directly compete with the likes of Apple’s premium iPad lineup. Samsung is also working on its cheaper alternative which goes by the name Samsung Galaxy Tab A2. Since the launch event is nearing, we’re speculating more leaks to come forward.
