Sony recommends that you use its phones underwater, But Now It Doesn’t!

The outstanding features that we saw in Xperia devices was they were “WATERPROOF”. Now it doesn’t seems to work anymore.. Sony has officially announced that it does not recommend to do so!!

Surprisingly the conditions applies same to the Z5/Z4/Z3 … If you will do so your are suppose to give up your warranty. As Sony said …

            The Xperia Z5 is waterproof and protected against dust, so don’t worry if you get caught in the rain or want to wash off dirt under a tap, but remember: all ports and attached covers should be firmly closed. You should not put the device completely underwater or expose it to seawater, salt water, chlorinated water or liquids such as drinks. Abuse and improper use of device will invalidate warranty.

If you planned on buying Sony Xperia Z5, just remember that Sony has stopped supporting their waterproofing features !!

We know that Xperia users would not be throwing their phones directly into the water. But knowing that if accidently they drop their phones into the water it will continue to work as well..
