Wileyfox Follows OnePlus Footsteps with New Smartphones

It’s said you should strike the iron while it is still hot! Wileyfox, the UK based smartphone maker has taken to this literally. With OnePlus creating fervor in the technology world, Wileyfox follows OnePlus and looks forward to a similar response.

This little known UK smartphone maker is all set to make it big with the launch of its Cynogen based smartphones- Storm and Swift. According to the maker, the two phones will create the same kind of enthusiasm and eagerness that OnePlus Two has caused. The makers are targeting Europe, Africa and Middle East for these phones.

So, what are the two phones going to bring with them?

Wileyfox Storm

The Wileyfox Storm, priced at £199, is powered by the Snapdragon 615 processor. It comes in a 5.5” full HD display and operates on the Cyanogen OS 12.1 which has been recreated on the Android Lollipop 5.1

This phone is packaged with a 20 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera which is definitely high end definition for any phone in this price range. You get 32 GB storage space which can be expanded up to 128 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The phone’s powered with a 2500 mAH battery which gives excellent standby time.

Wileyfox Swift

The Wileyfox Swift priced at £129 is targeted as the budgeted smartphone, It has a 5” HD display coupled with a Corning Gorilla Glass. It is a dual sim phone. The phone gives a good camera functionality at the budgeted price. You get a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Swift is powered with a Snapdragon 410 processor.

It comes with a 16 GB storage memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the Micro SD card. Swift, like Storm, comes with a 2500 mAH battery.

You are allowed to register for both the phones as of now. The shipping will begin in a while though. Both Cyanogen powered phones are all set to take the tech world by the storm.
