Vivo V50 India Key Specifications & Leaks
Vivo opted to tease a few features about the Vivo V50 India launch earlier today. The phone is all set to bring a quad-curved punch-hole display on top making it the first-ever V-series phone to host that. The display is a 6.67” AMOLED FHD+ panel boasting a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Vivo V50 will be powered by a hefty 6,000mAh battery under the hood paired with 90W fast charging tech. This is a feat to achieve given that the phone has a chassis maxing at 7.4mm in thickness.
The processor on board is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, the same as China’s Vivo S20, which is unsurprising since the V50 is based on the S20. The report suggests that the phone will pick up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. It remains to be seen how many storage variants will be available at the launch.
On the software front, we have Android 15-backed FuntouchOS 15 with a series of AI features including audio transcription, image editing, and real-time call translation to name a few.
On the optics front, we have a 50MP primary cam with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide snapper completing its dual rear camera assembly. On the front, we have a 50MP snapper with autofocus.
The phone is speculated to feature IP68 or IP69 resistance against water and dust. Additionally, we have a Diamond Shield Glass protection on top that will prevent the display from damaging itself or shattering.
