Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Leaks, new spin for the Notch display feature

This is not the first time Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker, is going with the top-notch design with its new phone to the Redmi lineup. Xiaomi is all set to introduce their next budget device Redmi 6 Pro on 25 June in its home country.

The Redmi 6 Pro is expected to be a mid-range device, and it could be the first to come up with a notch in its price range. Xiaomi recently posted a teaser indicating the launch date of the device on the brand’s official Weibo account. We now have the design of the upcoming thanks to another teaser posted by the brand itself.

Xiaomi has already revealed a captivating feature on Redmi 6 Pro. The smartphone will come up with an option to conceal the incise display. A simple toggle switch in the settings will allow the user to switch from an incise display to a normal display as seen in OnePlus 6.

This is good news or bad depends on what you like the new trend of notch display or classic display with no notch on the top. Though having an option of not having a notch doesn’t cause any damage to notch lovers. There is still no word on the pricing. But, we’re expecting it to be 999 CNY for higher storage variant.

As per the TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is likely to feature a 5.84-inch full-HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. There is ambiguity when it comes to the processor but since the device is on the mid-budget side a Snapdragon 636 or Helio P60 would be a perfect fit.

This smartphone is going to come with dual-lens camera setup at the back with a 12MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor. There is high chance that it will come with AI cameras giving you tons of extra features. As far as the battery is concerned, it has 4,000 mAh.

There is a fingerprint sensor at the back along with various other sensors including a light sensor, proximity sensor, compass, an accelerometer will also be present.
