Redmi K50i tested on 5G in India

According to the reports, Reliance Jio conducted a 5G trial on Xiaomi Redmi K50i which is slated to arrive in India next week. The premium range smartphone underwent some real-world 5G tests including 4K content streaming without any buffering on the way. The phone was also tested on full-fledged AAA video games and it did so without any lags or buffers within the game.

Redmi K50i 5G Tested on Reliance Jio 5G

The Redmi K50i 5G supports twelve 5G bands namely n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28a, n38, n40, n41, n77, and n78 bands. It further adds that the phone is indeed able to churn content at a 144Hz refresh rate.

Redmi K50i Expected Specifications

Redmi K50i 5G is expected to be a rebranded version number of Redmi Note 11T Pro+. The device is likely to pick up a 6.6” FHD+ LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision. There’s a Dimensity 8100 SoC under the hood paired alongside 256GB storage, 8GB RAM, and Android 12-powered MIUI 13 out-of-the-box.
