With the Redmi Note 5 launched a couple of weeks back, a new mid-range smartphone from Xiaomi has surfaced on a benchmarking website. The phone got leaked on Geekbench sporting mediocre specifications while being powered by an unannounced chipset from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 series. As per the listing, the phone runs the Android 7.1.2 Nougat, like many of the Xiaomi devices that usually get newer Android updates pretty late.

The name Xiaomi Berlin may not be for the final product and could’ve been used as a placeholder while it is being tested internally. Interestingly, the test was performed about a month ago on February 14 and it could surface only now. Besides the OS, the listing mentions that the handset will have a RAM capacity of 3GB.

Besides this, the said Xiaomi Berlin will come powered by the Snapdragon 632 processor, which, as per the listing, is a hexa-core chipset. It helped the device score 1,155 points in the single-core test, while it scored 2,738 points in the multi-core test. Roland Quandt, in his tweet, mentioned that the processor will have eight cores and the details mentioned on Geekbench are flawed. Being an unannounced chipset, there isn’t much that can be firmly said about it at the moment.
