This is an official price cut by Samsung and interested people can head to either Samsung’s official store or get directly from Amazon. Maybe Samsung has made this move to tackle the competition which the upcoming devices are going to give. This move might sustain this device for a little long in the market due to the immense competition among the smartphones in this price range.
Compared to the competition around, the phone’s internals do not go with its price tag currently. The device houses an octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor with 4GB of RAM. Its internal storage is 64GB which is expandable up to 256GB. Moreover, the phone has a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The primary camera is a 16-megapixel sensor that has an aperture of f/1.9. All this powered by a 4000 mAh battery. In terms of design, the device has a full metal body.
At that price, customers can opt for few newly released devices such as the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Huawei P20 lite or even the upcoming Moto G6 Plus. These devices are cheaper and are capable to perform even better. Moreover, most of these new devices feature an 18:9 bezel-less screen and the Face Unlock.
