After the immense success of the previous-gen Mix lineup, Xiaomi is all ready to give the world their next-gen bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The device has already been leaked numerous times before giving away the surprise element bit by bit. The device is going to come with a true bezel-less display with no notch on the front and tiny overall bezels on the side.
Speaking of front cameras, there is no popup mechanism as found in Vivo Nex. Xiaomi also released a teaser image showing the flawless Mi Mix 3 with its truly bezel-less display and a sliding mechanism much like Oppo Find X. To summarize the concept, Oppo released a smartphone dubbed as Find X which comes with motorised sliding mechanism that would pop up and retract the camera assembly and other sensors that would otherwise stay hidden under the screen. A similar concept is seen in Xiaomi’ upcoming phone too.
When carefully seen, it is not quite clear if the extending and retracted camera assembly is motorized or manual but it seems like the display can be slid down as opposed to Oppo Find X where the mechanism pops out.
There haven’t been any official specifications released either but thanks to the previous reports, we could assume that the smartphone has a QHD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with COP packaging technology and a Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood. Further, it has a 20-megapixel selfie snapper which has been one of the most strong points in all Xiaomi smartphones till date but as said, megapixels alone cannot define the quality of the camera.
As per the pricing, there are basically several variants available for which, the estimated prices are as followed.

- Ceramic – $660 or Rs. 45,400.
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 128GB/6GB RAM
- Standard – $555 or Rs. 38,200
- Ceramic – $705 or Rs. 48,500.
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 128GB/8GB RAM
- Standard – $600 or Rs. 41,300
- Ceramic – $750 or Rs. 51,600.
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 256GB/8GB RAM
- Standard – $645 or Rs. 44,400
- Ceramic – $795 or Rs. 54,700.
