Remember about Lenovo’s Z6 Pro will a stunning and seemingly unbelievable 100MP sensor? Well, the company’s VP posted on Weibo stating that Lenovo Z6 Pro sporting Snapdragon 855 is expected to launch this month.
Lenovo launched Z5 Pro last year with Snapdragon 710 and soon, Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Edition followed the suit. However, we have been learning about rumors suggesting the onset of Z6 Pro with Hyperboost technology for quite a few days now and seems like it is about to release.
Photos of Lenovo Z6 Pro were released a few days ago as well which although isn’t different from what normal boxes are, however, apparently, both the device and the package i.e. retail box is touted to be designed by a team that was behind torch of Olympics in 2008.
The most interesting aspect of the device is definitely its HyperVision camera that will boost a 100 MP image sensor which is phenomenal. Since we already know that Snapdragon 855 is capable of supporting 192 MP in a single camera setup but that’s something else.
As of now, Lenovo has been publishing videos showcasing its Z6 Pro’s camera in its Super Night View and Super Steady Shot mode. It is also rumored to support 5G modem (Snapdragon X50) and might feature an under-the-display fingerprint reader as per GSMArena. According to a previous report published by ExpressTech, VP Edward Change (Lenovo) confirmed that the Z6 Pro with 5G is expected to launch in June while a non-5G variant was slated to release on March 27 which didn’t go through. So, we could be suspecting a non-5G variant up for release this month while the 5G variant could appear sometime in June this year.
MySmartPrice states that Lenovo Z6 Pro will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and will sport a single slider that will reveal its front camera assembly upon a slid down. The front camera assembly has a dual 16+16MP sensors capable of shooting 1080p video. On the contrary, the rear assembly will feature a triple-camera setup with Lenovo’s HyperVision technology capable of shooting 4K Hyper Videos while there is an ultra-wide and depth sensor mounted too.
The device will support a base variant of 6/128GB while there is a 12GB of RAM top tier variant available too where the internal storage variants would go as high as 512GB. The device will pack in a humongous 4,000 mAh battery backed by Lenovo’s fast charging technology of yet unidentified speeds. The device is also summoned as the first 5G smartphone from Lenovo, however, we are yet to figure out if its 5G or non-5G variant is up for launch this month.
