AdBlock is a savior for many people across the internet. It stops websites from displaying ads and is really a great help to people as it loads websites stupidly filled with advertisements at every bits and corners of the page, much faster.

With the use of Adblock, the website owners and entrepreneurs face the problem as their revenue goes less and less.

According to a study, about 144 million users uses Adblock , which is about 5% of the total internet population. This may look like a small no., but since these people mostly live in the United States and other parts of the west, profits seem a significant impact.

About 27.6% of the people of USA are said to use Adblock. Therefore online businesses which rely on advertisements for their revenue are not getting one forth of their possible earnings! Google has been seeing this for a long period of time and thus has decided to take a step against Adblock. Many reports tell us that this Search Giant has somehow found the way to bypass Adblock on YouTube.

According to the reports, Google is playing the advertisements as pre clips thus making Adblock totally unusable. Worser than that, Google is making Adblock users watch the ad completely without providing them with a Skip Ad button. This may be annoying as some ads are as long as 2 minutes.

This service doesn’t only apply for Adblock but similar softwares as well.

Obviously there will be some workarounds in the future but this is a clear move by Google to bypass the AdBlock users. So what do you guys think about this? Share in the comments below.
