Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has released another Reno4 smartphone. Oppo introduced the Reno4 Z 5G in Taiwan as a part of a growing Reno4 series. As it was already speculated, the Oppo Reno4 Z 5G is nothing but a rebranded Oppo A92s.
Apparently, all the specifications for Reno4 Z 5G are the same with a minor change in terms of storage configurations and a missing color.
Oppo Reno4 Z 5G Specifications
Talking about the specifications, the device is equipped with a large 6.57” IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The device has a 20:9 aspect ratio and comes with a 120Hz refresh rate with it which is exactly what the Oppo A92s offers as well.
Moving on, the phone is powered by a Dimensity 800 5G chipset manufactured on a 7nm node. It is an octa-core with a max frequency of 2.0GHz paired along with Mali-G57MP4. The phone gets 64+6GB and 128+8GB storage configurations which are just short of the 256GB+8GB variant that the Oppo A92s sports while the UFS 2.1 storage system and no expandable memory slot is identical on both the devices. The device runs on the latest Android 10-based ColorOS 7.1.
Talking about the optics, the phone sports a quad-camera setup with a 48MP wide-angle sensor paired along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor at 119° FoV, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera is capable of shooting videos at 4K@30fps yanking it up to 120fps at 1080p with gyro-EIS on. The front on the other hand sports a 16MP primary sensor with a 2MP sensor. To put things into perspective, Oppo A92s has the same camera specifications as well as design too.
Finally, the phone gets a 4000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging tech, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, support Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.0 with LE and A2DP, A-GPS with BDS, and Glonass. Lastly, the phone is available in Black and White and only the Pink color from A92s is missing on this one.
There’s no clear price tag on the Reno4 Z 5G we know of although the Reno4 5G fetched $600 AUS or USD 425 in respective countries.
