Reports suggest the Vivo X Fold6 launch is happening sometime by the end of June 2026 in China. Cut to now: we have our hands on key specs that the flagship phone will bring on board, including its larger circular deco design and Dimensity 9500 SoC under the hood. Here’s what the latest buzz says about the Vivo foldable phone.
Vivo X Fold6 is coming sooner than expected!
According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Vivo X Fold6 is tentatively scheduled for launch in late June 2026. The phone brings a cutting-edge Dimensity 9500 SoC under the hood. It will bring on board a 7,000+ battery housed in a slim and lightweight body. Not to forget that we are talking about a foldable phone, and having a 7K+ battery onboard makes the X Fold6 a proud wonder of the largest batteries in the foldable class.
To highlight, the Vivo X Fold5 had a 6,000mAh battery paired with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. We are expecting the X Fold6 to get the same or even better charging support onboard.
Moving further, the Vivo X Fold6 is expected to bring a 200MP large rear primary snapper paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto snapper. There’s also a medium-sized sensor adjoining the other two camera sensors on-board, and we think it is the 50MP ultrawide snapper, if we aren’t wrong.
DCS further adds that the Vivo X Fold6 launch will happen with a signature large circular camera module embedded in it. There’s a single white colorway that happens to be the top choice for its engineering samples (although other colors might exist), rounded corners, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, to name a few.
Vivo X Fold5 specs at a glance
In June 2025, Vivo launched the X Fold5 in China with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood. The phone brings an 8.03” foldable panel plus a 6.53” AMOLED cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate on both and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The phone has two 20MP selfie cameras plus a 50+50+50MP triple rear camera.
It goes without saying that the Vivo X Fold6 will be slightly better than the Fold4, as evident by the recent leaks as well. Watch this space to catch the Vivo X Fold6 as it prepares for a debut launch.
