OnePlus has already announced that they will be launching the OnePlus 8T on October 14 and also confirmed that OnePlus 8T Pro is not coming this year. The reason is that they believe the OnePlus 8 Pro is already great so there is no need to give an upgrade just for the sake of it. As far as the OnePlus 8T is concerned, it is all set to be a major upgrade from the OnePlus 8 and even the OnePlus 8 Pro in various areas.
For example, OnePlus 8T is most certainly going to have a flat display rather than a curved one which some believe is an upgrade but that is not what we are talking about. The real upgrades with the OnePlus 8T are in its charging technology since the device will have 65W Warp Charge. On the other hand, the OnePlus 8T will have a 120 Hz AMOLED display rather than a 90Hz one from the OnePlus 8.
The device will continue to have 5G support thanks to the Snapdragon 865 processor inside it and we know that it is the best that Qualcomm offers at least till November of 2020. Our first look at the OnePlus 8T was not available yet but we now have that too with the help of Ishan Agarwal.
The famous leaker has revealed the renders of OnePlus 8T and they fall in line with what we know so far. The device is indeed coming with a Samsung-like camera module at the back along with the familiar design from OnePlus and a glass back. On the front, the device will have a punch-hole camera at the side. It is worth noting that even OnePlus has been open about the design of OnePlus 8T even before launch as they have shared the renders on Amazon India page as well as posted a YouTube teaser video too.
