It’s official. Poco has finally added two new smartphones in the Poco series dubbed as Poco F4 and Poco X4 GT. The latter packs in a Snapdragon 870 SoC along with 64MP OIS triple rear camera, 67W turbo charge and a lot more. Let’s have a closer look at what the Poco F4 has to offer as it arrived in India and the European markets on June 27th.
Poco F4 Pricing and Availability
Talking about the price tag on this beast, it is EUR400 and EUR450 for 8/128GB and 12/256GB models with a EUR50 discount during the early bird offer between June 27 and July 7. Apart from that, it will be available in India at a price tag of INR28,000/- for a 6/128GB variant and then there are the usual two storage variants available at INR 30,000/- and INR 34,000/- respectively. Grab onto the introductory offer and you’ll get the units at INR4,000/- less than the MRP.

Poco F4 Specifications
Another smartphone that arrived with the X4 GT is the Poco F4. It brings onboard a better battery and camera tech among others. It comes paired with a cutting-edge Snapdragon 870 SoC just as in the last iteration although with an improved cooling tech under the hood. It uses Android 12-backed MIUI 13 for POCO for its software.
Talking about the specifications, Poco F4 has upped its game with the inclusion of OIS on the camera rig which is the first for this series. Attached to the primary 64MP camera, there’s OIS along with 1/2″ sensor size and 1.4micron after pixel binning pixel size. There’s an 8MP ultrawide snapper with a field of view of 119° and finally, a 2MP macro module at the back arranged in a triangle within a circular camera bump within a rectangular one just like inception. At the front, you do get a 20MP front camera housed in a punch-hole cut-out.
Poco has improved the battery tech on F4 as well. It gets a 4,500mAh battery size and a 67W turbo charging that effectively brings down the charging speed from 52 mins on the F3 to 38 minutes on F4.
The display tech isn’t any different from last year so we have a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It has got 1300 nits of peak brightness, a 1080×2400 pixels resolution, HDR10+ with Dolby Vision, and comes protected with Gorilla Glass 5 onboard.
Poco F4 gets up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, 5G, and improved LiquidCool Technology 2.0, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, and more just to give a sense of what all it packs in.
