The Personalized Spatial Audio feature works by creating a personalized sound profile based on the shape of your ear using your iPhone’s TrueDepth cam. Apple has promised a 2x better noise cancellation tech onboard thanks to the inclusion of advanced computation audio along with optimized microphone placement which works better than the previous gen AirPods Pro.

AirPods Pro 2 brings onboard Adaptive Transparency which is a new mode under its noise cancellation arsenal. What it does is, it cancels out high decibel sounds such as when you are at a traffic junction with horns honking around or when near a construction site. The tech works automatically suppressing the outside noises at a higher degree while reducing its effectiveness when you are farther from high decibel locations.

There’s no lanyard loop, new XS silicon tips, touch controls, and other features onboard too. The battery onboard is rated with 6 hours of listening time and 30 hours on the charging case which isn’t any less time to suck to your AirPods Pro 2 for sure. You can charge the case wired using the Lightning Port or you can use wireless options – Apple Watch Charger, Qi Wireless Charge, or MagSafe charger up its belly. Additionally, Apple has outfitter the charging case with UWB that making it compatible with Apple Find My services. There’s a speaker built-in that buzzes a high-pitched sound when you need to find those easy-to-lose charging cases.
