Earlier known as HTC One M10, the upcoming HTC 10 (as newly termed), gets spotted once more. another big leak or render for the HTC 10 was pushed by @upleaks through their Weibo account, which adds to the rumours and leaks that are raining cats and dogs as we approach the speculated day of the launch.

Deriving from the renders or the leaks, it’s quite evident that the HTC 10 night hold on to more than enough from the previous M series flagship’s design language, which includes the curved metal uni-body from the M9 and button placement alike One A9. The render also indicates the possibility of the HTC 10 to arrive with multiple colour options, including black, gold, white and an unique combination of black front and white rear.

It’s hard to confirm if these renders represent the original forthcoming device, many noticeable changes evoke curiosity and doubt, especially the removal of the front-facing HTC BoomSound speakers, in order to fix the fingerprint scanner. Apart from that, the front facing camera and bezels show minuscule but easily determinable changes. And yeah, HTC, here’s to you,  thinking of removing the front-facing speakers? My impressions about same go pretty much like this: “Meh!”

However, here’s what impresses me about it, the software part. Previously, HTC has been one of the first to bring Marshmallow to their phones, helping us witness their commitment. Therefore, I have all the faith on HTC 10, for it come with Marshmallow (pretty much an unwarranted statement of course, but yeah, why not hope?). And talking the rest, HTC 10 is rumoured to appear with a 5.15 to 5.2-inch Quad-HD display, 4GB RAM (DDR3/DDR4, neither confirmed), Snapdragon 820 Chipset and an Adreno 530 GPU. On the camera front, we can expect to see a 12 megapixel rear camera accompanied by an 8 megapixel front camera. Besides that, it is also rumoured to sport a USB-C port for charging.

Coming to the launch details and the rest, Evan Blass speculates the launch date as April 19th, which means we still have a long term to wait. And, as of now, we do not have any official confirmation for the same.
