The phone is powered by last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (currently the top-of-the-line). It has 512GB UFS 4.0 storage plus a 16GB LPDDR5X RAM on-board that keeps the phone’s performance excellent. Vivo has partnered with Zeiss (again) for its triple camera setup at the back. It uses a 50MP primary f/1.68 lens with OIS, a 64MP telephoto with 3x optical, and a 50MP ultra-wide snapper arranged in a circular camera bump.
You get a two 32MP selfie shooter embedded on the displays as a cutout that takes the toll to five sensors. Vivo has integrated a custom-made Vivo V3 imaging chip to handle camera processing onboard X Fold3 Pro.
Vivo X Fold3 Pro uses a 5,700mAh battery under the hood paired alongside 50W wireless and 100W wired charging. This should be enough to juice up the phone in a jiffy. The phone supports a Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth v5.4 5G, NFC, IPX8 rating for dust and water, an under-the-display fingerprint scanner, and an IR blaster among other sensors.
Vivo X Fold3 Pro — Not Just a Pretty Phone
It is easy to forget that Vivo X Fold3 Pro is not just another foldable phone out there. Instead, it is an engineering marvel. Some of the accomplishments include India’s slimmest fold at11.2mm and 5.2mm when unfolded.
Vivo claims the phone’s carbon fiber hinges are ultra durable capable of withstanding more than 500,000 folding during its lifetime which is equivalent to 100 folds a day for the next 12 years.
The Chinese smartphone maker is using an Armor Glass capable of withstanding multiple drops (up to 11 to be exact) offering the stability and durability you would need in an INR 1.6L smartphone in your hands.
