Earlier today, Samsung introduced to us the new addition to the most iconic smartphone line-up ever, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Unlike usually, Samsung’s not only shaking the industry, appealing to their power-users, they’ve also planned to step their foot into something unusual, augmenting the ultimate smartphone game.

Today was the day, as Samsung uncovered the Note 7, giving rest to the all extravagantly -hyping rumours and anticipating renders. The Note 7 provides an impression of being an assassin from all the angles, bringing along the new smarter and more accurate S Pen and corresponding features, best-in-class specs, a curved screen, a new colour and a plethora more to certainly amaze you. All of that follow this paragraph, be sure to read the whole article.

Design

With the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, approached a new generation of design changes for Samsung, ditching the old plastic and fake metal materials, Samsung finally shifted over to a better design language, the all-over glass finish, reflecting from the Note 7 is Samsung’s willingness to continue with the new trend. Similar to its predecessors, the Note 7 attends to a similar front and back glass design with an Aluminium frame running on the sides. And, it finally adds the curved edge.

Talking of the front, coming aboard are the front facing camera, an earpiece and the so very new, Iris scanner, all of them positioned on the top deck of the phone. Below the screen lay the home button (fingerprint scanner) and the altered (Samsung fashion) back and recent apps keys.

The rest lay in usual Note series fashion, with the power button and volume keys on the right and the left respectively, to the speaker grills, USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and S-Pen slot at the bottom of the phone. And there’s no matter to worry; Samsung will include a Micro-USB to USB-C converter right in the box, making the phone backward compatible with accessories of previous Samsung devices. Coming to the rear of the phone, there’s the usual squircle-shaped camera on the top centre, accompanied by the LED Flash. The back also sports the curved edges, making the phone more ergonomic in the hand. One more thing it absorbs from Samsung Galaxy S7 is the being waterproof, have fun with your underwater shots. With all of these, the Note 7 is quite indistinguishable from its predecessor, the Note 5.
