Honor has announced the launch date of its highly anticipated Honor 200 series in India. With the debut set for July 18, Thursday, Indian tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting these innovative smartphones. The lineup will consist of the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro models, which have already made their mark in global markets.
Honor 200 series official launch date
Honor has officially confirmed that the Honor 200 series will make its grand entrance in India on July 18, Thursday. Both the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro will be available for purchase on Amazon, as well as in mainline stores and on the brand’s official website.
The brand will offer the standard model in Classic Black, while the pro variant will come in Moonlight White. Notably, both smartphones will feature a sleek and ultra-slim design, measuring just 7.7mm in thickness.
The portrait master
In an intriguing move, Honor has partnered with the Paris-based photography studio, Studio Harcourt, to enhance the camera capabilities of the Honor 200 series. Touted as ‘The Portrait Master’, these smartphones will boast a 50MP portrait camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
Additionally, the devices will run on MagicOS 8.0, which is based on Android 14, and will offer various AI features, including the impressive MagicLM on-device language learning model.

The Indian variants of the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are expected to replicate the specifications of their global counterparts. Both models sport a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen with a stunning 1.5K display resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 7 Gen chipset will power the standard model, while the pro model will feature the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. And for battery life, users can expect a robust 5,200mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. Notably, the Pro model will also support 66W wireless charging for added convenience.
