According to a report by MySmartPrice, they spotted a so-called Motorola Razr 50s on an HDR10+ certification website confirming its existence. The Razr 50 is already launching in India and with the same name as Global.

However, Razr 50s appears to be ‘new’ in the rumor mill. All we know about the upcoming phone is its HDR10+ certification. Apparently, the suffix ‘s’ hints at a ‘lite’ or ‘affordable’ version of Motorola Razr 50 possibly taking in a wider audience who are exploring price-friendly options for a foldable smartphone.

Motorola’s Razr 50 features a 3.6” FHD+ pOLED panel on the outside with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 1,700 nits of peak brightness. The primary display is a clamshell-like 6.9” FHD+ pOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and lights up at a humongous 3,000 nits of peak brightness.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X system-on-chip (SoC). Moreover, a huge 4,200mAh battery sits under the hood alongside 30W wired and 15W wireless charging support. 

Furthermore, the Razr 50 boasts a 50MP primary snapper at the back with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide cam. The front, on the other hand, has a 32MP shooter. The Razr 50 is set to launch on September 9th in India which is almost three months after the global launch. The Razr 50s, on the other hand, remains a mystery in terms of specs and release date at the time of writing this.
