Flipkart has officially revealed the dates for its highly awaited 11th edition of the Big Billion Days 2024 sale. Starting on September 27, 2024, the sale is set to offer incredible deals across a wide range of categories, running until October 6, 2024. Flipkart Plus and VIP members will get early access starting on September 26, 2024.
Seller support and early access sales
Flipkart is ramping up support for sellers, offering 20% higher rewards and new growth opportunities. The ‘Big Sale of Small Things,’ which began on September 15, 2024, has allowed sellers to tap into festive demand early. Around 4,500 sellers participated in conclaves across India to prepare for the sale. The Flipkart Samarth program also celebrates five years of supporting small businesses, impacting 1.8 million livelihoods.
Faster deliveries and improved product assurance
Flipkart promises faster delivery this year, with over 2 lakh SKUs available for same-day delivery across more than 20 cities. Enhanced logistical capabilities and improved product quality checks ensure timely and reliable deliveries to customers during the sale.
Partnerships for discounts and affordability
Flipkart has teamed up with HDFC Bank to offer a 10% discount on debit, credit, and EMI transactions during the sale. Additionally, the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card offers 5% unlimited cashback. Other offers include No Cost EMIs, instant credit via Flipkart Pay Later, and SuperCoins rewards for Flipkart UPI transactions.
Exclusive deals for Plus and VIP members
VIP and Plus members will benefit from exclusive deals, including the opportunity to win up to Rs. 10,000 through cart value refunds during early access. Plus members can redeem SuperCoins for additional savings on top brands.
Travel and local shopping deals
Flipkart’s travel arm, Cleartrip, will offer hotel stays starting at Rs. 2,499 and domestic flights from Rs. 999. Flipkart and Myntra users can enjoy extra discounts on travel bookings, adding another layer of savings during the sale. Additionally, Shopsy, Flipkart’s local marketplace, will offer access to over 160 million products with special discounts for first-time users.
Flipkart expands fulfillment centers and jobs
To prepare for the festive surge in demand, Flipkart has opened 11 new fulfillment centers (FCs) across nine cities, expanding its network to 83 FCs in total. This expansion has created over 1 lakh new jobs, reinforcing Flipkart’s commitment to supporting local communities and generating employment opportunities across India.
