vivo has officially unveiled its latest Y-series smartphone, the vivo Y300, in China. Equipped with leading-edge features, the Y300 looks to provide an outstanding multimedia and performance experience.
Display with high brightness
vivo Y300 sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The screen is built for dynamic clarity, delivering up to 1800 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and 3840Hz high frequency PWM dimming when turned on in developer mode — it defaults at 2160Hz. Durability added, the screen is protected by Diamond Shield glass.
Performance and three-way audio
vivo Y300 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC that gives adequate performance to play games and more along with multitasking. The phone also has an innovative three-speaker audio system, with sound being 600% louder than normal smartphones. AAC 1326D rear speakers, AAC 1116B lower speakers, Goertek 0809 upper speakers are provided with 3D panoramic audio.
Camera and battery
The Y300 is housed with a 50MP primary rear camera with the Samsung S5KJNS sensor and OIS, along with a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it has an 8MP front camera. There is a massive, 6500mAh battery with the energy density of 776Wh/L, also offers 44W fast charging.
Design and durability
Despite the mighty battery, the Y300 comes in a slim design and is 7.79mm thick (7.85mm for the Green edition) and weighs 199.9 grams. Available in three fashionable colors including Green Pine, Snow White, and Star Diamond Black, the phone is IP64-rated dust and splash-proof, has passed the SGS five-star drop and fall test.
