There is no doubt that Google Pixel and Pixel XL are the best Android phones available in the market right now. The only thing that could stop you from getting one of these is their prices, which is on the premium side. But that reason also seems to have gone up to an extent as Google is offering a discount of ₹13,000 on both the phones.
Discounts and cashback offers have been a norm in the online space, but Google might have extended the offerings to the offline stores to0. The offline retailers across the country are offering a cashback of Rs. 13,000 on the purchase of Google Pixel and Pixel XL.
Normally, such cashback offers are available only through online retailers and are applicable only on credit and debit cards issued by selected banks. But Google is extending the offer to cash purchases as well.
That means the buyers will be getting an instant discount of Rs. 13,000 when making a cash purchase. EMI purchases via credit cards will also be covered under this cashback program that is available until May 31st.
The cashback offer is the result of huge piles of unsold inventory of Google Pixel phones with the retailers. Google wants to clear the inventory without officially announcing the price cut, the report mentions.
Google Pixel and Pixel XL was launched in India starting from Rs. 57,000 for the 32GB variant of Google Pixel and going all the way up to Rs. 76,000 for the 128GB variant of Google Pixel XL. With the cashback of Rs. 13,000 applied, the Google Pixel 32GB will have an effective price of Rs. 44,000.
Gadgets 360 has the offer documents with the list of banks whose cards are eligible for the offer. The cashback of Rs. 13,000 will be credited back to your card within 90 days, and only one transaction will be allowed per card.
Flipkart is also offering a similar discount of Rs. 13,000 and is applicable only on purchases made via credit or debit cards, and not on COD orders. This is an instant discount and will be applied soon after you choose Debit Card or Credit Card as your payment option.
