With the P4x 5G, Realme is aiming to offer a solid gaming experience, a long-lasting battery, and a smooth high-refresh-rate display, all at a price that remains budget-friendly for Indian buyers.

Display, performance, and gaming experience

The realme P4x 5G features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with a 144Hz variable refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1000 nits for smoother motion and better clarity in bright outdoor environments. At the core, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and as much as 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. There is also support for additional storage through a microSD card.

For mobile gamers, the phone offers support for up to 90 FPS in BGMI. To help sustain this performance during long gaming sessions, realme has included a large 5300mm² Vapor Chamber Frostcore cooling system, which the company claims can lower CPU temperature by up to 20 degrees Celsius. Further, the realme P4x 5G ships with Android 15 powered by realme UI 6.0 and promises two major OS upgrades and three years of security updates to keep the device current.

Camera and additional features

On the rear, the device includes a 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with the OV50D40 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a secondary 2-megapixel camera for depth information, with support for 4K video recording at 30fps. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor capable of capturing 1080p footage at 30fps.

The smartphone also integrates an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and offers stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, dust and splash resistance rated at IP64, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.2. realme has highlighted an aerospace-inspired design which contributes to the phone’s premium look, while the device weighs 208 grams and measures 8.39mm in thickness.

Battery and charging

A standout feature of the realme P4x 5G is its 7000mAh Titan Battery. realme claims the phone can provide about one hour of BGMI gameplay with just six minutes of charging when paired with the 45W fast charger. It also supports bypass charging, which routes power directly to the motherboard during gaming sessions, reducing heat and helping preserve battery health.
