Redmi K90 Ultra key specs appears online ahead of purported launch
According to Digital Chat Station (DCS), Redmi K90 Ultra will arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC under the hood. This puts the device under the Redmi K90 Pro Max, which hosts a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 SoC under the hood. Xiaomi’s next-gen Ultra won’t have a Dimensity 9500+ SoC, as the chipmaker has never released it, and thus, we are talking about the Dimensity 9500 SoC.
Moving further, Xiaomi is working with larger battery packages for the Redmi K90 Ultra. However, heavy inclination is towards an 8,500mAh battery pack that will power the device throughout the day, coupled with 100W fast charging tech. Redmi is marketing the device as a pro gaming device, and thus, the battery capacity can add gravitas to interested buyers, given that the larger battery pack you have, the better the gaming experience.

Of course, this will be coupled with a better display. Based on what we know so far, Redmi K90 Ultra specs include a 6.8” 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate. This is a sweet spot, as many games are leaping beyond the ordinary 60 fps, and K90 Ultra can accommodate games with higher fps without breaking a sweat.
Other rumored specs include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, a first-ever internal air cooling fan for Xiaomi, IP68 dust and water resistance, and a minimalist design, among others.
We don’t have a Xiaomi Redmi K90 Ultra release date so far, although it is believed that the launch could happen in May or June this year. This gives us a few months to find out the rest of the missing specs out there.
