The Xiaomi 17 series is reportedly headed to India and global markets, with early indications suggesting there may be no price hike. A Xiaomi 17 series pricing leak from Dealabs points to European prices that align closely with the Xiaomi 15 lineup, reinforcing expectations that the upcoming flagship devices could retain similar price tags.
Xiaomi 17 series pricing in Europe
Xiaomi 17, the standard flagship phone, is tipped to roll out in four colorways: Alpine Pink, Ice Blue, Venture Green, and Black. The entry-level 12GB+256GB trim is priced at EUR999, while a higher 12GB+512GB is priced at EUR1,099. When translated to INR, it is INR 107,000/- and INR 118,000/-, respectively.
Moving on, Xiaomi 17 Ultra prices in Europe are rumored to be EUR1,499 for the entry-level 16GB+512GB, while a higher 16GB+1TB trim is priced at EUR1,699. You can choose between Starlit Green, White, and Black colorways. Upon conversion, we are talking about INR161,000/- and INR183,000/-, respectively. However, take this Indian pricing with a pinch of salt, as it is not usual for smartphone makers to set a different price tag rather than just a currency conversion.
The Xiaomi 17 series made its debut in China in September last year. Although not all the models are coming to the global markets, we are expecting Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra to arrive globally on February 28.
Of course, there can be certain changes in specs, such as the Xiaomi 17 in India coming with a 6,330mAh battery vs 7,000mAh on the Chinese variant. Similarly, we have the Xiaomi 17 Ultra with a 6,000mAh battery in India vs. 6,800mAh in China. Nevertheless, with the EU prices as a benchmark, one can assume a similar price tag for the Indian market as well.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be a larger model with a 6.9” LTPO AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 SoC, 1TB of storage, a meaty 6,800mAh battery, and a 200MP periscope telephoto shooter.
Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra are launching globally on February 28, although the official confirmation is yet to come. There’s a Xiaomi 17 Max in the works as well, although it is likely a China-only model incoming.
