Honor 7X open sale starts from December 23rd

Honor 7X from Huawei’s sub-brand was launched in India earlier this month starting at a price of Rs. 12,999, which seems very competitive at this price point and with Huawei’s exclusive online partner Amazon India, three flash sales have already been hosted where users would need to register themselves to take part in the sale. But, from December 23, i.e. tomorrow, Honor 7X will be available via open sale, for which customers won’t have to register themselves.

Speaking about Huawei’s step to bring Honor 7X to customers via open sales, P Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei India – Consumer Business Group, said:

“After three blockbuster sales, we have received many requests for another sale for our Honor 7X and are humbled by the response received. Owing to a great response we had extended the sale till 4 pm in the last flash sale held yesterday and have now decided to go ahead with an open sale. For our consumers who could not buy the device during the previous flash sale(s), can now get their hands on the global bestseller on Amazon.in starting 23 December.”

In terms of specifications, the Honor 7X sports a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by Huawei’s very own HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor (4x Cortex A53 @ 2.36GHz and 4x CortexA53 @ 1.7GHz), coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB internal memory. It is to be noted here that Huawei decided to provide the 4 GB RAM on both the variants of Honor 7X, despite having 32 GB or 64 GB ROM.

In terms of camera, there is a 16 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor, while on the front, there is an 8 MP camera for selfies and video calling. Connectivity options on Honor 7X include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB.

The 32 GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999 and the 64 GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 15,999 and are available in three colour options – Black, Blue, and Gold. Amazon offers no-cost EMIs for Honor 7X purchases and other offers like 80% off on Kindle e-books up to Rs. 300. There is a data bonus from Airtel as they are giving up to 90 GB data for free.

While prepaid users can recharge their phone with Rs 349 plan and they will get 15 GB extra data each time they do the recharge for 6 cycles. The postpaid users will get 15 GB 3G/4G data additional per month for 6 months on a postpaid Infinity Plan of 499 and above.
