Razer has been working on a smartphone for a quite a long time now but there was no information about it until today. The Razer Phone has now been listed on GFXBench that reveals the detailed specifications of the phone. As per the listing, the phone will be coming with the best of the specifications that you can expect from a 2017 flagship.

Over at the front, there is a display with a modern aspect ratio of 18:9 for a display size of 5.7 inches. The resolution of the display as per the listing is 1440 x 2560 bringing it at par with other top-end smartphones.

While there have now been many smartphones with a larger display and an 18:9 aspect ratio, most of them settle for an FHD+ display. And only the top crowd including the Galaxy S8 and LG V30 have got a high-res display.

With that, the listing also includes a Snapdragon 835 processor along with a mammoth-sized RAM capacity of 8GB. The only mainstream phone to sport that high RAM capacity is the OnePlus 5. Asus Zenfone AR is another smartphone but that is designed for a specific audience. The internal memory of the phone is mentioned to be 64GB.

For the OS, there will be Android 7.1.1 pre-loaded on the Razer Phone and there can be some customisation from the company. There will be a 12MP camera on the back of the phone that is capable of 4K recording. While on the front, you will find an 8MP camera for taking selfies.

If you remember, Razer had purchased a rather smaller smartphone maker called Nextbit that was known for its famous Robin smartphone. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Nextbit is behind the making of this Razer Phone. There has been no name given to the phone that’s the reason we’re referring to it here as Razer Phone.

Now that we know that the specifications would be of flagship class, it is becoming even harder to wait for the phone. Razer has teased an image which gives a probable launch date of on November 1, which is about a couple of weeks away from today.
