New TCL Phones, Televisions, Audio, and Wearable Products at CES 2021

CES 2021 started with a boom and a lot of companies showed off their innovations at the event. TCL also joined the show announcing some exciting innovations and products of its own at this years Consumers Electronics Show. TCL claimed to deliver more immersive and impactful experiences to its consumers. Showcasing some of its advanced technology products in the home theatre division which comprises of TVs and audio offerings along with mobile and home comfort products, the company is said to expand its award-winning portfolio to a next generation mini-LED for TVs, TCL 20 Series smartphones and wireless soundbar solutions among other devices arriving to North America allowing its customers to enjoy more of what they love.

Chris Larson, Senior Vice President at TCL said, “Last year was a unique one for TCL but through it all, the team never lost sight of its goal to become America’s preferred consumer electronics brandand maintain its status -the number two selling brand of television in the United States. Not only did consumer needs propel us toward that achievement as people looked to their TV for entertainment more than ever, but largescreens were in demand and picture performance became even more important. As a result, technology like mini-LED and QLED made so much more sense as we approached CES”. Chris further added that “And thanks in no small part to TCL’s advantages as a vertically integrated company, while our TVs are getting bigger, better, brighter and more accessible, our other categories like audio, mobile phones and home appliances continue to thrive as well.”

As most of you already know, TCL is a global leader when it comes to mini-LED backlight technology for high-performance TVs. The company has previously launched its 8-Series Roku TV, which is the first mini-LED powered TV launched back in 2019. Later, the company in 2020 has introduced its second-generation mini-LED backlight technology on the powerful 6-series line with Roku TV in 2020. Last year’s series line has remained a pointer in delivering sharp contrast and brilliant brightness with mini-LEDs. Now, TCL continues its lead with its third-generation of mini-LED backlight launching later this year dubbed OD Zero mini-LED. This third-generation of mini-LED backlight technology from TCL brings together the company’s latest mini-LED backlight technology made by its in-house development and vast expertise in display engineering.

This delivers an ultra-slim display with tens of thousands of mini-LEDs and thousands of Contrast Control Zones for excellent brightness, precision contrast, and the smooth uniformity. Adding mini-LED backlight technology to the award-winning 6-Series TCL Roku TV models with powerful picture performance and infinite entertainment but in the year ahead, all 2021 6-Series TCL Roku TVs will launch with 8K out of the box. Not only that, even when you play 4K content, that will be intelligently upscaled with company’s powerful AiPQ Engine technology.

It is worth noting that TCL does not plan on discontinuing the previous 6-Series 4K Roku TV models even after the launch of 6-Series 8K Roku TVs. In addition to this, the company is also said to debut its The XL Collection. This is company’s first lineup of 85-inch display. TCL plans on launching three different models to The XL Collection. From a smart  85-inch 4-Series TCL Roku TV that delivers the easiest way to enjoy 4K HDR streaming and an 85-inch 4K HDR TCL Roku TV with QLED picture quality to the ultimate mini-LED [powered 8K TV with QLED wide color technology, the XL Collection is widespread at any budget with high performance standards.

These TVs from the XL Collection will be made available in North America during the year ahead, starting with the 4-Series TCL Roku TV 85-inch variant launching later this quarter at a price of $1599. The other two models in the XL collection are said to arrive in the coming months. There is no information around exact launch dates or the prices yet.

TCL Mobile

TCL is all set to introduce its TCL 20 series of smartphones which also includes two new 5G smartphones and NXTVISION 2.0 visual technology as well as innovative new tablets, TWS earphones, and wearbles to expand the company’s portfolio by also strengthening their vertically integrated ecosystem. The company says that its 20 Series of smartphones will feature a premium nature inspired design together with exceptional performance and affordability, which makes the series a upgrade over last year’s 10 Series. The series comprises of TCL 20 5G, which is company most affordable 5G device, and the TCL 20 SE which has to be the most affordable device in the series.

The company also previewed three of its additional smartphones from the lineup at the CES 2021 and the company plans on launching them globally in the coming months. Being TCL smartphones, the TCL 20 Series features the company next generation of NXTVISION. For those unaware, NXTVISION is company’s advanced display optimization and camera technology that made its debut in 2020. This year’s NXTVISION 2.0 enhances the overall visual experience by providing the grater color accuracy, better brightness, and contrast along with adaptive display features, and AI-driven improvements.

TCL is also said to unveil two of its tablets with an emphasis on education, remote learning, and productivity. Given the current situation where schools and colleges are conducting online courses, these tablets might as well come handy. Also, the TCL NXTPAPER is the company’s new display tech that uses a highly reflective screen to provide colorful and paperlike experience that is more efficient and optimized fro educational activities. The TCL tablet flaunts a 10-inch display with a large battery and T-Pen stylus.

These smartphones and tablets from the company will be joined by the premium MOVEAUDIO S600 TWS earphones which offer a Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation feature along with the Transparency mode and Google Assistant, improved battery life and many other features.

TCL Wearble Display, which is a pair of light and portable glasses that come with two 1080P Full HD Micro OLED display’s built in that provides a cinematic experience equivalent to a 140-inch screen at four meters away.
