A new smartphone brand is launching in India. Apparently, Fire-Boltt is all set to enter the smartphone market in the country with phones under INR 20,000/-. This comes after the company recorded a 9.7% market share, making a huge splash in the smartwatch industry, although information about the offerings is still elusive.
Fire-Boltt smartphones could debut in India under ‘Boltt’ branding
According to Yogesh Brar, a popular tipster via X, Fire-Boltt is all set to enter the smartphone market with at least two or three new smartphones. The phones will launch under the “Boltt” branding, while “Fire-Boltt” will be reserved for its extensive wearable portfolio.
We don’t have much information on the offerings. However, we know that all the phones will be priced under INR 20,000, aka hitting the affordable segment. It is a mix of 4G and 5G phones and will be powered by Unisoc processors that we have seen with HMD Vibe 2, Lava Shark 2 5G, and others.
Given the reports from Smartprix, the Fire-Boltt smartphones are expected to launch in July 2026, given the smartwatch maker already has a strong distribution network and solid marketing backing them up. This leaves us with just a few weeks to go before the phone actually makes it to the market.
Meanwhile, as per 91Mobiles, Fire-Boltt is primarily focusing on strong value-for-money offerings. It will engage its distribution network to carry out such a momentous task in a short span of time. In fact, the extensive on-the-ground presence gave the wearable-manufacturing company a strong chance to score major market share. Cut to now, these smartphones will carry on the legacy as well.
