As Google Pixel 8’s October 4 launch draws closer, the leaks have started to intensify. The latest to hit the market is its European storage options along with the pricing. Of course, the storage configurations are unlikely to change in other markets for both Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro albeit the pricing could differ but here’s the outlook.
Google Pixel 8 Pricing and Color Options
Google Pixel 8 with 128GB storage comes with an asking price of EUR874 while the higher 256GB gets it up to EUR949. For comparison, the Pixel 7 took the price tag of EUR650 which means Pixel 8 is undoubtedly on the heavier side of the pricing game. When converted to Indian rupees as of now, the Pixel 8 128GB is at INR 59,999/- with 23% VAT included. Similarly, the 256GB Pixel 8 will cost you INR 69,200/-.
On the color palette, the Google Pixel 8 is expected to arrive with four colorways – Obsidian, Rose, Hazel, and Mint. Here, the Obsidian finish was seen last on Pixel 7 while the other three are new so we will get to see the magic as it unfolds on October 4.
Google Pixel 8 Pro Pricing and Color Options
The pricing for Pixel 8 Pro seems to follow the trend as the asking price for its entry-level 128GB is pegged at EUR1,235. It is up from Pixel 7 Pro’s EUR900 which shows a significant price bump. The 256GB and 512GB models attract a pricing of EUR1,309 and EUR1,461 respectively which are again a bumped up pricing compared to the predecessors.
Moving on, the Pixel 8 Pro with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB will cost around INR 84,999/-, INR 95,674.25/-, and INR 1,06,623.83/- respectively.
Of course, the pricing mechanics for any smartphone is simply about converting EUR to INR or USD to INR since each market may have different price tags. Thus, we will have to wait for more concrete info on the Indian pricing to confirm the same.
When it comes to Pixel 8 Pro color options, we have Obsidian (same as Pixel 7 Pro), Mint, Bay, and a Porcelain color. The last of the four was recently leaked giving a peek into the magnanimous colorway as it brings onboard the Pro.
