Huawei’s sub-brand honor is popular for manufacturing budget-oriented smartphones with a quality camera. Honor 6X was the first phone to rock a dual camera setup at the rear, it was sold for around Rs.13,000 here in India. Honor announced the successor to its 6X model in China last month. The Honor 7X will be the second device ever by them which will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display.Honor 7X is all set to launch in India in December. The company promises that the devices price will be “unbeatable”. The 7X is listed on Amazon and registrations have started.
Honor 7X sports a thin bezel, 5.9inch display with an 18:9 display and full-HD+ (1080×2160) resolution. Honor 7X sports a dual camera setup at the rear with a 16-MegaPixel and a 2-MegaPixel sensor at the back. It has an 8-MegaPixel sensor at the front for crisp selfies.
The 7X is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset and is run alongside 4GB of RAM. The dual Sim device packs in a 3340mAh battery and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box on top of Emui 5.0 skin. The device comes in 32GB/64GB and 128GB storage variants, it also has support for expandable storage since its a hybrid dual Sim configuration.
The Indian pricing of the device has not yet been revealed. Honor 7X 32GB variant was sold in China for CNY 1,299(Approx Rs. 12,900), the 64GB variant is priced at around CNY 1,699 (Approx 17,000) and three 128GB was priced at CNY 1,999 ( Approx Rs. 20,000). Honor is known to release its devices in India for a much lower price and since Honors Global President recently stated that the 7X will be launched at an ‘unbeatable’ price we can sit rest assured.
