Highlights
  • Apple will launch the iPhone 18 Pro series and the much-anticipated iPhone Ultra at the Surprise and Shine event.
  • Turns out dbrand listing already confirmed the moniker as well as gives 50+ options to choose from grips and skins for iPhone Ultra.
  • The cases/grips are up for pre-orders and will commence shipping in early October 2026.

It seems like even before Apple can make the big splash, dbrand has seemingly surprised us with iPhone Ultra grips and cases. With more than 50 options to choose from, the grips, skins, and screen protectors for the upcoming iPhone foldable are already out there.

iPhone Ultra dbrand listing with 50+ grips and skins goes live

For the unversed (and why, I don’t know), Apple is set to launch the iPhone 18 Pro series and much-anticipated iPhone Ultra at the September 9th Surprise and China event. Although a number of products will be announced during the event, one of the much-awaited products out there is the Apple iPhone Ultra with a wide screen, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8.

However, Apple likes keeping things under wraps until the last moment (and sometimes, it goes well beyond the launch). dbrand, on the other hand, has uploaded a bunch of grips and cases on its website, while subtly confirming the iPhone Ultra as the moniker.

I got to experience various iPhone Ultra dbrand listing for cases and grips. It includes an Ultramatte Teardown at $59.90 and X-Ray (Light) at $59.90, as well as iPhone 17 Pro-framed Cosmic Orange and Black Camo at $54.90, to name a few. Well, you can also customize the grip + case based on your preferences. That’s something I love about the iPhone Ultra dbrand listing, though.

The website says these grips and skins are available for pre-order right now. Shipping commences in early October. Turns out Apple could also launch the phone during the September 9 event and ship it in early October; I mean, there was a lot of chatter around this, as Apple is expecting a lot of interested takers for its first-ever foldable phone, coming probably a decade after it was first rumored.

A person jokingly said the iPhone Ultra is already in its Gen8 iteration, a nod to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 series that was released a few weeks ago. Note that we are denying it as such, but we wouldn’t agree much either. What do you think about the upcoming iPhone Ultra? Drop your comments below.
