In the last month, iQOO launched the iQOO 12 5G in India, which included the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Soon after its release, the company began teasing the arrival of the Neo 9 Pro in the country. The brand has finally announced that the smartphone will be available on February 22nd. Here’s an overview at what to expect from the device.

iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets were released in China in December. According to multiple rumours, the Neo 9 Pro launched in India will be a rebranded version of the Neo 9 available in China.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro specification (expected)

iQOO Neo 9 Pro is reported to include a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The device will be powered by FunTouch OS 14 and will include an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The Neo 9 Pro will include a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The phone’s rear camera will have an OIS-assisted Sony IMX920 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

In India, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro is expected to compete with the OnePlus 12R, which also has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The price of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro has not yet been leaked. However, it is estimated to cost approximated Rs 40,000 ($482) in the country.
