With over seven models, the iQOO Z9 Series is still growing. We just got to know about iQOO’s yet another smartphone such as the iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus (or Turbo+) in the works. It is expected to launch as an incremental version of Z9 Turbo and house a Dimensity 9300+ SoC under the hood.
iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus to Sport a Dimensity 9300+ Under the Hood
According to the folks at MyDrivers, the iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus, rumored specs suggest a 6.78” flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. An optical under-the-display fingerprint sensor will get in with quick biometrics.
The rumored specs propose Dimensity 9300+ chip that has consistently topped benchmarks in giving Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC a run for its money. The chipset has reportedly scored 2,313 points in single-core and 7,743 points on multicore tests on Geekbench v6. The AnTuTu v10 score puts it at 2.3 million while Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is at 1.58 million highlighting the disparity in terms of performance.
There’s no word on RAM and storage though. But, we will probably get an Android 14-flavored OriginOS under the hood. The phone is speculated to be supplied with a 6,000mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging tech. A 16MP selfie camera will get you average though the rear assembly has 50MP OIS plus an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

For the unfamiliar, these are a set of rumored iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus specs, and thus, the actuals could differ. The camera assembly appears to be inspired by existing Z9-series devices so that could be true. It is also an incremental model of Z9 Turbo that we saw in April this year that will give the entire Z9 series an eighth model to choose from including a China-variant of vanilla Z9. The device is speculated to launch in mid-to-late September 2024, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
