HMD Global launched the new variant of Nokia 6 known as Nokia 6 (2018) at an event held in MWC 2018. The firm announced the device with the refreshed design and improved specifications. The updated Nokia 6 comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB onboard storage. Unfortunately, the device is available in only one variant i.e 3GB in the Indian market. For those who are waiting for the higher variant, it seems like your wait is finally over.

Nokia just posted a tweet teasing the launch of a new variant of their budget offering. The 7-second short video shows a Nokia device with “Up your pace with even more space” line. This clearly indicates the arrival of Nokia 6 (2018) sporting 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The current variant of Nokia 6 is available offline as well as online at the retail price of Rs. 16,999.
We don’t have information regarding the pricing of the new variant which will get launch in the coming months. Regarding the availability of the variant, It might become available across Nokia Mobile shop and select offline outlets including Reliance Digital, Croma, Poorvika, Sangeetha, and others.
Nokia 6 (2018) specifications and features
The refreshed Nokia 6 2018 comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS LCD display having the resolution of 1080×1920. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage. You will get an option to expand the storage up to 128GB on both the variant via Micro SD.
For the cameras, it has a single 16-MP camera sensor at the back with Dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. The front, on the other hand, bears an 8-megapixel fixed-focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture. This device falls under the Android One programme meaning it has the stock Android 8.1 Oreo in it. You also get Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm jack, and USB Type-C. Nokia 6 2018 packs a smaller 3,000mAh battery which can deliver up to 16 hours of talk time.
