After Nokia’s decent rebound last year, the company is all set to launch their new budget segment smartphone in China. The Nokia X is set to make a comeback and this time it would be called as Nokia X (2018). It seems that HMD Global is just reviving the old Nokia phones. The official launch date of Nokia X is decided for May 16 but before that, there are a few more leaks of the specifications of what the phone could offer.

A video posted on Baidu indicates that the Nokia X will come with a 5.8-inch full body display and dual camera setup at the back.

The official renders reveal that the Nokia X will be having a full body display with a notch and a secondary camera on the front. On the back, there will be a dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner. As you can see, Nokia X will sport a premium glass back

Few rumors also suggest that HMD could launch two variants of Nokia X- one that is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC and other that has MediaTek Helio P60. Rumors also suggest that there could be 2 variants on the device in terms of the RAM and storage capacity. In past, a 3C certification listing also revealed a regular 10W charger for the this device which means that phone will not come with fast charging capability.

To add further, HMD Global had also announced that all its future phones released after the Nokia 3 will be part Android One program. This means that Nokia X could run on pure Stock Android which means regular updates for a while.

For India, it is still undecided whether the phone will launch or not. However, India is the second biggest market for Nokia to sell their smartphones. Thus, it might come to India as well. We will be updating you regarding all the news related to Nokia.
